Petty Named GLIAC Golfer of the Week
Junior Kasey Petty was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Golfer of the Week on April 14 for her performance at the Tiffin Invitational (April 12-13).
Petty won the tournament at the Mohawk Country Club with a 154 (78, 76). Petty was tied for first after 36 holes and defeated Ashland's Kaitlin Neumann in a playoff by scoring a birdie on the first hole.
The victory marked the third time Petty has won a tournament during her tenure with the Oilers.
