Oilers Head to East Regional

The University of Findlay women's golf team is seeded fourth in the NCAA Division II East Regional, which will be played on May 7-9 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich.

The Oilers, who have made it out of the regional three out of the past four years to reach the national championship, are coming off of a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) championship this season.

Junior Makenzie Torres leads the team and is ranked 50th in the nation with a scoring average of 75.36. She also ranks 51st among all NCAA Division II women's golfers in birdies with 49.
