Oilers in 6th at Regional
The University of Findlay women's golf team wrapped up day two of the NCAA Division II East Regional on May 8 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich. The Oilers posted a 313 on Tuesday and have a 36-hole score of 629 (316, 313), which is good for sixth place at the event.
Makenzie Torres paced Findlay on the second day and is tied for 10th at the event. She carded a 4-over par score of 76 on Tuesday and had a 2-over par score of 74 in the opening round for her total of 150.
Samantha Kellstrom carded a 76 on Tuesday and has shot a 158 (82, 76) at the tournament. She is currently tied for 32nd at the event.
Meredith Wipper (80, 81 – 161) and Samantha Hatter (81, 80 – 161) are tied for 42nd while Kristina Kniesly is tied for 51st with a 164 (81, 83).
The final day of competition will take place tomorrow.
