Torres Tied for 26th After 3rd Day

Makenzie Torres, a junior on the Oilers women's golf team, fired a 4-over par score of 76 on the third day of competition at the NCAA Division II National Championship and is tied for 26th at the tournament with one round to go.

Torres recorded three more birdies on Friday and has ten at the tournament, the fourth-highest total in the field.

Overall, Torres has posted a 54-hole score of 226 (78, 72, 76).

The fourth and final round at Bay Oaks Country Club will take place tomorrow.
