Schmitmeyer Earns Athlete of the Week

Findlay, OH - University of Findlay women's golfer Jill Schmitmeyer has earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week after a pair of top-ten performances last week.

The Oilers competed and finished as runners-up in both the Gilda's Club Laker Invite and the Ferris State Invitational last week. The team was led by senior Jill Schmitmeyer who shot a 76 (+4) and a 77 (+5) in Allendale to take sixth and followed that up with a 70 (-2) and a 79 (+7) to take runner up in Big Rapids.

The St. Mary's, Ohio native currently ranks second in the conference in scoring at 76.00.
