The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team suffered a 29-14 loss to Shepherd University on Saturday, March 30 in Shepherdstown, W.V. The loss gives the Oilers a 2-7 record on the season.
The Oilers trailed by only two goals at halftime when Shepherd entered the break with a 12-10 lead. Shepherd then controlled the second half, out-scoring the Oilers by a 17-4 margin to secure the win.
Taylor Trice led the team with five goals while Sarah Lankton scored four.
Victoria Predmore and Mackenzie Barnwell each added two goals apiece in the loss.
The Oilers will be back in action again on April 3 when they travel to Tiffin, Ohio to take on Tiffin University. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
