Oilers Lacrosse Inks 7

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse program announced the signings of seven individuals, who will be eligible to compete for the Oilers during the 2015 campaign.

The crop of recruits includes three players from Ohio, two from Michigan, one from Colorado and one from Pennsylvania.

"We are really excited about this recruiting class," said head coach Julie Duffy.  "We were able to secure some really good players and their additions will provide us with valuable depth as we continue to build our program."

The recruiting class is listed below:

Maddi Brown, Defense, Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon H.S.

Info – Was a scholar student-athlete…Plays club lacrosse for Midwestern Force Lacrosse…Was a part of the state runner-up club team in 2012. 

Natalie Fury, Defense, Glenolden, Pa./Interboro H.S.

Info – Named first team all-DelVal League in 2013…Named honorable mention all-Delco…Plays club lacrosse for Lenape Premier.

Rachel Heath, Goalie, Loveland, Ohio/Loveland H.S.

Info – Named second team all-conference in 2013…Was an honorable mention all-league pick in 2012…Plays club lacrosse for Midwestern Force Lacrosse. 

Michelle Lortie, Midfield, Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy

Info – Named honorable mention all-district in 2013…Plays club lacrosse for Michigan Cyclones. 

Megan Millage, Midfield, Aurora, Colo./Grandview H.S.

Info – Plays club lacrosse for Denver Summit Lacrosse.

Olivia Sherman, Midfield, Okemos, Mich./Okemos H.S.

Info – Named first team all-state in 2013…Earned Lansing State Journal Dream Team honors…Was all-CAAC…Earned all-academic honors…Part of a team that won league, district and regional titles…Plays club lacrosse for Michigan Elite and Rapid Lax.

Alex Walus, Midfield, Brighton, Mich./Brighton H.S.

Info – Was her team MVP…Earned scholar athlete honors…Will be joining former teammate and current Oilers player, Allison Kelly.
