Lankton Named 1st Team All-Region
Senior Sarah Lankton was named first team all-North Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on May 13.
Lankton, who was an all-region performer and All-American for the Oilers last year as well, capped her career with 55 goals, 16 assists, 66 ground balls, 101 draw controls and 26 caused turnovers during her senior season. She was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Midfielder of the Year for the third straight year and was voted first team all-conference for the fourth straight time.
The Carmel, Ind. native ends her career with totals of 262 goals, 79 assists, 299 ground balls, 427 draw controls and 120 caused turnovers, all Findlay records.
