The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team blanked Ohio Valley University on April 4 at the Armstrong Sports Complex, winning 14-0 on a chilly day. The win gives the Oilers an 8-2 record on the season with a 4-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers outshot the Fighting Scots 44-1 in the game and set a new school record with 49 ground balls.

Brie Caruso led the way with three goals and one assist. She also picked up six ground balls and caused two turnovers in the victory.

Ciara Burud added three goals and two assists. She also secured three ground balls, won three draw controls and caused two turnovers.

Jacelyn Litman had two goals, two assists and three ground balls while Hannah Peebles had two goals and an assist.

Olivia Sherman scored one goal and had three assists. She also picked up three ground balls, had three draw controls and caused four turnovers.

Brooke Eicher picked up the win and also had two ground balls while Brittany Stephens caused three turnovers and had six ground balls.

The Oilers will be back in action again on April 8 when they travel to Canton, Ohio to face Walsh University at 2pm.
