The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team claimed a 17-7 win over Walsh University on April 17 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The win pushes the Oilers record to 11-3 on the year with a 7-2 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).
Ciara Burud had a monster day for the Oilers with six goals and an assist. She also picked up seven ground balls and caused five turnovers.
Olivia Sherman posted three goals, six draw controls and an assist while Jacelyn Litman had two goals and a pair of assists.
Allison Kelly registered two goals and an assist while Maddi Brown found the back of the net twice.
Allie Kasprzyk scored a goal and assisted on two others while Brooke Eicher picked up the win by stopping 12 shots.
The Oilers will be back in action again on April 21 when they travel to Vienna, W. Va. for a 2pm game against Ohio Valley University.
