Oilers Fall at #4 Indianapolis

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team opened their season with a 22-3 loss at 4th-ranked University of Indianapolis on March 6 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Greyhounds got off to a quick start as they opened up a 14-1 lead at the break and cruised through the second half for the victory. They out-shot the Oilers 44-8 and won 22 draw controls.

Senior Ciara Burud scored a pair of goals to lead Findlay while junior Izzy Murphy-Morrow had the other.

Junior Rachel Bornstein took the loss in goal and made 11 saves.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 10 when they host 11th-ranked Grand Valley State University at 3pm.
