Oilers Beat Eagles 19-8

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team defeated Ashland University by a score of 19-8 on the April 15 in Ashland, Ohio. The victory gives the Oilers a 3-5 record on the season.

Senior Ciara Burud scored six goals and posted two assists to lead the Oilers to the win. She also won five draw controls, picked up three ground balls, and caused a turnover.

Senior Allie Kasprzyk and freshman Paige Falk each had three goals and an assist while juniors Kendra Lindell and Adriana Santucci had two goals apiece.

Junior Liz Zatalava, Mackenzie Cole, and Izzy Murphy-Morrow contributed the other Findlay goals in the game.

Lindell and senior Jordan Reineke each had three ground balls while junior Rachel Bornstein picked up the win by making 13 saves.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Sunday when they hold senior day at home against Tiffin University. The contest is slated to begin at 12pm.
