Oilers Cruise Past Ursuline | WIn 22-4

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team cruised to a 22-4 victory over Ursuline College on April 20 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The win gives the Oilers a 4-6 record on the season with a 2-2 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The Oilers scored the first nine goals of the game in the first ten minutes of action and never looked back as senior Ciara Burud led the way with seven goals, five draw controls, and two ground balls.

Freshman Paige Falk scored four goals to go along with five draws and one assist while senior Allie Kasprzyk had three goals and two assists.

Sophomore Izzy Murphy-Morrow also registered three goals and a pair of assists while junior Adriana Santucci had two goals and two assists.

Junior Mackenzie Cole, junior Kendra Lindell, and junior Liz Zatalava were the other Findlay players to score.

Junior Rachel Bornstein picked up the win and made nine saves in goal. Sophomore Olivia Bakowski also defended the Oilers goal in the game and made one save.

The Oilers will face the Arrows again on April 23 at 1pm in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
