Oilers Fall to Dragons in Semifinals

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team had their season come to an end on May 6 in Canton, Ohio as they fell 10-8 to Tiffin University during the semifinals of the 2021 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament.

The Oilers and Dragons were tied at 4-4 when the first half ended, but Tiffin scored four goals early in the second half that proved to be the difference in the game.

Senior Ciara Burud led the Oilers with three goals, three draw controls, and two caused turnovers while sophomore Izzy Murphy-Morrow had two goals.

Junior Kendra Lindell, sophomore Emma Heinrich, and junior Adriana Sauntucci scored the other Findlay goals in the loss.

Junior Rachel Bornstein made four saves and picked up four ground balls as well.
