Findlay Sweeps G-MAC Weekly Awards for Second Consecutive Week

Findlay, Ohio- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its Athlete of the Week selections for the previous seven-day period and in lacrosse, the University of Findlay swept both the offensive and defensive honors. Senior Danielle Dilorenzo picked up Offensive Player of the Week while senior Rachel Bornstein earned Defensive Player of the Week after guiding the Oilers to a dominant win over Tiffin this week.

Bornstein, the goalkeeper for the Oilers, recorded four saves and allowed just five goals in the contest. Meanwhile, forward Dilorenzo, scored eight goals which is the most goals in a game by any player in the G-MAC this season. She also added two assists, two ground balls, and five draw controls to combine for ten points. 

This marks the second consecutive week that Findlay has swept the weekly conference award.
