Roughnecks Announce 2013-14 Schedule

The University of Findlay wrestling team announced their schedule for the 2013-14 campaign on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The Roughnecks will begin the year at the Michigan State Open on Nov. 9 in East Lansing, Mich.  They will then head to the Eastern Michigan Duals/Open on Nov. 16 in Ypsilanti, Mich. before taking part in the King Open on Nov. 24 in Bristol, Tenn.

The team will have only one event in the month of December as they compete in the Midwest Classic on Dec. 14-15 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Roughnecks will start the 2014 portion of their schedule on Jan. 11-12 at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  They will then compete in the Ranger Duals on Jan. 18 in Kenosha, Wis. before wrestling in the Super Region II Duals on Jan. 24-25 in Newberry, S.C.

On Feb. 1, the Roughnecks will host Ashland, Lake Erie and Tiffin in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) quad before traveling to face Indianapolis on Feb. 7 in Indianapolis, Ind.

The Roughnecks will return home to host Mercyhurst on Feb. 8 before facing Ohio Valley on Feb. 15 in Tiffin, Ohio.

The NCAA Division II Regional is slated for March 1-2 in Tiffin, Ohio while the NCAA Division II National Championship is scheduled for March 14-15 in Cleveland, Ohio.
