3 Roughnecks Ranked Nationally

The University of Findlay wrestling team has three individuals ranked nationally as the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) released their NCAA Division II rankings on Jan. 14.

Sophomore Nick Goebel is currently ranked fourth nationally in the 149-pound weight class to lead the way while sophomore Joey White is ranked fifth in the 157-pound weight class. Freshman Josh Wimer is the third Roughneck in the national rankings and is currently eighth at 133.

The Roughnecks will be back in action again on Jan. 17 when they compete in the Ranger Duals in Kenosha, Wis.
