Skonieczny Named GLIAC Wrestler of the Week

Sophomore Ryan Skonieczny was tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 10 for his performances last week.

Skonieczny, who is ranked sixth in the 141-pound weight class in Super Region 2, went 3-0 for the Roughnecks against Ashland, Tiffin and Lake Erie. He began the week with a 3-1 win over Ashland's Robert Mason on Feb. 3. He then earned a pin in 2:48 against Lake Erie's Ian Ross on Feb. 6 before scoring a 9-5 victory against Tiffin's Travis Salyer on Feb. 6.
