Turner lost his semifinal match against Wisconsin-Parkside's Nick Fishback by a score of 5-4 and quickly rebounded with an 8-5 win over Indianapolis' Clayton Monebrake in the consolation bracket to earn a trip to the third place match. In the third place match, Turner faced off against Shorter's Kade Kitchens and claimed the bronze with a 12-6 victory. He ended the regional with a 4-1 record.
