The University of Findlay Oilers defeated the Lake Erie College Storm 2-0 on Friday, Oct. 28 in Findlay, Ohio.
Findlay's first goal came in the 14th minute when senior Caitlyn Theaker scored off a cross from junior Emily Beddoes.
Then, in the 49th minute, sophomore Sarah Silone beat Lake Erie's goal keeper to a loose ball in the box to give the Oilers their second goal of the game.
The win brings Findlay's record to 7-8-1 on the season with a 6-6-1 mark in GLIAC play.
The Oilers will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 30 when they host GLIAC rival Ashland University at DeHaven Field in Findlay, Ohio. The match is slated for a noon kick-off.
