UF Women's Soccer Announces 2015 Schedule
The University of Findlay women's soccer team is coming off of a 6-8-3 season under the guidance of head coach Crystal Dye and will begin the 2015 campaign at home against St. Joseph's on Sep. 4. They will then remain at home for their next game against Southern Indiana on Sep. 6 before a tough three-game road swing.
The Oilers first road trip of the season will be to battle NCAA Division I foe Bowling Green on Sep. 8. They will then tackle another Division I opponent on Sep. 13 when they face Youngstown State before taking on Grand Valley State on Sep. 18. The Lakers have been dominant at the NCAA Division II level, winning back-to-back national championships. Overall they have won four national championships in the past six years. They have also sprinkled in a runner-up finish and reached the semifinals during that stretch.
On Sep. 20 the Oilers return to DeHaven Field to face Malone. They will then travel to face Tiffin on Sep. 23 before hosting Ferris State on Sep. 27.
The month of October begins with a road game against Walsh on Oct. 2. The Oilers will the host Ohio Dominican on Oct. 4, Northern Michigan on Oct. 9 and Michigan Tech on Oct. 11.
The Oilers will hit the road to face Northwood on Oct. 16 before staying on the road to battle Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 18. They will return home to host Ashland on Oct. 23 and then travel to face Lake Erie on Oct. 25. The team will then conclude the regular season at home on Oct. 30 against Tiffin.
The GLIAC Tournament is slated to run from Nov. 3-8.
