Oilers Win in OT Against Ohio Dominican

The University of Findlay women's soccer team came away with a 1-0 win in overtime against Ohio Dominican University on Oct. 12 at DeHaven Field. The victory puts the Oilers record at 8-0-1 on the year with a 6-0-1 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

After a scoreless regulation, freshman Addie Graham scored the golden goal off an assist from senior Sierra Peacock at the 95:51 mark.

The Panthers outshot the Oilers 10-7, but the Oilers goalkeepers were stout in the net. Senior Anna Money started the game and made a team-high four saves, which included two diving stops in the opening half. Junior Nicole Burke earned the win by playing the second half and overtime, making three saves.

The Oilers will be back in action again on Oct. 19 when they travel to Philippi, W. Va. to take on Alderson Broaddus at 1pm.
