Men's & Women's Swimming Teams Complete Their Meet
The University of Findlay men's and women's swimming teams completed their double dual meet against Hillsdale College and Malone University at the C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton, Ohio. The men fell 178-81 to Malone University while the women were victorious against Malone University 180-72 and fell to Hillsdale College 154-107.
On the women's side, the relay of sophomore Jessica Ward, sophomore Kaley Holmstrom, freshman Emily Annen and junior Molly Cade led off the meet with a victory in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 4:03.70.
The Oilers first individual victory came in the 100-yard backstroke where Ward won with a time of 1:00.11. Ward also claimed victory in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:12.33.
Cade took home a victory in the 200-yard butterfly leading with a time of 2:12.36.
On the men's side, junior Diego Santos won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:55.63.
The Oilers will be back in competition on November 22 at 6 p.m. in Muncie, Indiana for the Doug Coers Invitational.
