Warriors Win Over Women's Tennis 6-3

The University of Findlay women's tennis team dropped their first match of the season by a score of 6-3 to Wayne State University on Monday, Sept. 9 at the Armstrong Sports Complex in Findlay, Ohio.

The Oilers saw Tijana Raicevic and Matina Matic win singles events for the Oilers and the team of Lauren Johnson and Matic win their #2 doubles event.

Raicevic defeated Wayne State's Julia Kamenko in #2 singles competition while Matic won in #4 singles after an injury retirement by Anastasia Burobina.

The Oilers will return to the court again on Friday when they travel to Allendale, Mich. to take on Grand Valley State University.
