Eagles Edge Oilers 5-4

The University of Findlay women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to rival Ashland University on Friday, Sept. 20 in Findlay, Ohio.

The loss gives the Oilers a 1-4 record on the season with a 1-4 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Matina Matic and Lauren Jonathan picked up victories in singles competition for Findlay.

The Oilers #1 doubles team of Nina Djordjevic and Tijana Raicevic also picked up a victory while Findlay's #2 doubles squad of Matic and Jonathan also scored a victory during the match.

The Oilers will be back out on the court again tomorrow when they host Lake Erie College at 10 a.m.
