VonIns Named 2nd Team All-GLIAC

Junior setter Jessica VonIns of The University of Findlay volleyball team was named second team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in voting conducted by the head coaches in the league. In addition, freshman middle blocker Danielle Taflinger earned honorable mention honors as the conference office released their postseason awards on Saturday, November 13.

VonIns finished second on the team with 263 kills and 457 assists while also producing 171 digs, 47 blocks and 23 aces.

Taflinger led the team with 273 kills and 99 blocks. She also led the team with a .332 hitting percentage.

Hillsdale won three of the four individual honors as Ashlee Crowder was tabbed the Player of the Year, Sydney Down was selected as the Libero of the Year and Chris Gravel captured Coach of the Year honors.

Northern Michigan's Ana Lopes was honored as the Freshman of the Year.
