Taflinger Named 2nd Team All-GLIAC

Sophomore middle blocker Danielle Taflinger of The University of Findlay volleyball team was named second team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) on Saturday, November 12.

Taflinger, who earned honorable mention all-league status last year, finished second on the team with 264 kills and ranked fourth in the GLIAC with a .360 hitting percentage.  She also finished second on the team with 76 total blocks.

Sophomore outside hitter Mackenzie Vorst was named honorable mention all-conference for the Oilers as well after posting a team-high 305 kills during the 2011 campaign.  She also added 166 digs, 44 blocks and a team-high 36 service aces.
