Taflinger Earns All-Region Accolades
Junior Danielle Taflinger of the Oilers volleyball team was named all-Midwest Region by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for her performance during the 2012 season.
Taflinger was named first team all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) in 2012 after leading the team with 310 kills and a .352 hitting percentage. Her hitting percentage is the second highest mark in the GLIAC.
The Lima, Ohio native also had 108 total blocks and 31 digs during her third season with the Oilers.
Taflinger was named second team all-conference and honorable mention all-region last year as a sophomore.
