Lyons Named GLIAC Player of the Week

Senior Julie Lyons was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week for the second time this season on Nov. 2. She also captured the honor on Oct. 12.

Lyons led the Oilers to a 2-0 record over the weekend by accumulating 21 kills. She also hit .679 in the two matches and added a pair of blocks. She recorded 10 kills and hit .750 in the Oilers 3-0 win over Tiffin on Friday and then came back with 11 kills while hitting .625 in Findlay's sweep of Ohio Dominican.

The Dover, Ohio native leads the GLIAC with a .411 hitting percentage, which is also the sixth-best mark in the nation.
