GLIAC South Division Player of the Week

Sophomore Amanda Winner was tabbed the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division Player of the Week on Sep. 19 for her performances in wins over Ashland and Tiffin.

In the match against the Eagles, the sophomore standout picked up ten kills and 11 digs. She countered that with an even better performance against the Dragons the next day. In that match, Winner pounded 17 kills, while hitting .310, and had 14 digs to give her a second double-double on the week, something which she did just four times all of last season.

To go along with her kills and digs, Winner had her serve working to the tune of five aces, four of which came against Tiffin. Winner now leads the conference in service aces per set and points per set.
