Travecca Out Duels Findlay in Five Sets

Nashville, Tennessee - The University of Findlay women's volleyball team lost in five sets, (20-25, 25-23, 16-25, 25-16, 17-19), for the second straight match on Saturday, November 2 to Trevecca Nazarene. The Oilers fall to 6-18 overall and 3-5 in GLIAC play, while Trevecca improved to 14-15 and 5-4 in conference play.

Defensively, Alana Sundermann and Olivia Morrison were all over the court as they had 45 digs combined, 23 from Sundermann and 22 from Morrison.

Abigail Schroeder led the Oilers in assists with 32, while Emily Annesser had 16 of her own. Schroeder added 14 digs to the stat sheet.

Four different Oilers had double digit kills: Shelby Kin had 14, Rylie Pattison had 13, Annesser had 12, and Natalie Maras had 11. They had a balanced attack in a full team effort. 

The Oilers will be back in action on Friday, November 8 as they will host Malone in a match that is set to start at 7:30 PM.
