Findlay Shoots Down Arrows in Three Sets

Pepper Pike, Ohio- The University of Findlay won a three-set match (25-20, 25-19, 25-19) against Ursuline College on Friday Oct. 1. This brings the Oilers to a 9-2 record on the year and 5-1 in conference play.  

The Oilers were led by senior Madison Moore. She had 12 kills to assist the team and hit .476. Moore also recorded two digs. 

Assisting Moore was freshman Journey Blevins who had 13 kills and hit .31 on the match.  

Sophomore Hannah Warrington had 10 kills while junior Emma Meyer contributed 5. Meyer also added three blocks for the Oilers.   

On the defensive side, senior Ashton Terrill had 8 digs and was assisted by sophomore Alissa Rhodes with 7 digs. 

The Oilers hit .312 for the match and held Ursuline to a hitting percentage of .179. 

The Oilers are back in action tomorrow Saturday, Oct. 2 at Lake Erie College at 6pm.
