Oilers Roll Past Panthers

 

Findlay, Ohio- The University of Findlay women's volleyball team won a three-set match (25-22, 25-22, 29-27) against Ohio Dominican University on Friday Oct. 8. This brings the Oilers to a 11-2 record on the year and 7-1 in conference play.  

The Oilers were led by sophomore Hannah Warrington. She had 15 kills to assist the team and hit .333 for the match. Warrington also recorded nine digs and one ace.  

Assisting Warrington was freshman Journey Blevins who had 13 kills and hit .267 on the match. She also had one dig and three blocks.  

Junior Emma Meyer contributed with 8 kills and five blocks.  

On the defensive side, senior Ashton Terrill had 15 digs and was assisted by sophomore Alissa Rhodes who had 8 and Schroeder who added 7 digs. 

The Oilers hit .252 for the match and held Ohio Dominican to a hitting percentage of .231.  

The Oilers are back in action Saturday, Oct. 9 against Cedarville at 1pm in Croy Gymnasium.
