Findlay Loses 5 set Grudge Match to Cedarville.

The University of Findlay's women's volleyball team was defeated in five sets (22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 21-25, 15-12) on Oct. 9 by Cedarville. Findlay now holds an 11-3 record on the season with a 7-2 record in the Great Midwest Athletic conference.

The Oilers were lead by freshman Journey Blevins who had 19 kills. Senior Madison Moore finished with 17 kills and junior Emma Meyer had 13 and Natalie Maras, who hit .375, had seven.

On the defensive side of things senior Ashton Terrill recorded 19 digs. She was assisted by sophomore Alysse Rhodes who had 12 digs as well. Emma Meyer recorded 3 blocks while Moore and Blevins recorded a single block each as well.

The Oilers hit .225 as a team on 159 total attacks.

Findlay will be back in action on Oct. 15 when they head to Hammond Ind. to comepete in the Midwest Crossover (schedule realsed later this week).
