Blevins and Pohlman Earn G-MAC Athlete of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its Athlete of the Week selections for the previous seven day period and in volleyball, the University of Findlay swept both the offensive and defensive honors in the North Division. Sophomore Journey Blevins picked up Offensive Player of the Week and freshman Alana  Pohlman earned Defensive Player of the Week after both helping the Oilers continue on their seven game win streak.

Journey Blevins hit .301 on the week, recorded 44 kills (4.4 per set), 19 digs, and 6 blocks. This is Blevins' sixth career G-MAC Player of the Week honor and her third consecutive this season.

Earning Defensive Player of the Week, Alana Pohlman  was critical to the Oilers' success this past week as she tallied13 blocks (1.3 per set), 27 kills and hit .382 for the week. This is Pohlman's first G-MAC Athlete of the Week honor.
