Oilers Complete Running Fit Titan Invitational

The University of Findlay cross country teams traveled to Northville, Mich on Saturday, Sep. 12 for the Detroit Running Fit Titan Invitational.

Men's Results

The Oiler men were paced by sophomore Matias Trampe-Kindt who finished 21^st with a time of 21:40.9. Finishing close behind were freshman Austin Guthrie, who placed 24^th with a time of 21:47.1, sophomore Sean Stockmaster finishing at the 21:55.5 mark, earning him 25^th place, and freshman Ty Gleason earning a 27^th place finish with a time of 21:58.4.

Freshman Jonathan Allen rounded out the scoring for Findlay as he finished 29^th while crossing the finish line at the 22:06.9 mark. The Oilers placed fifth as a team and scored 126 points.

Also participating for The University of Findlay were freshman Tyler Beck with a time of 22:23.4, junior Aaron Cingle (22:32.5), freshman Michael Taylor (22:34.5) junior Reid Wolin (22:59.4), freshman Troy Shultz (23:24.7), freshman Hobie Cotsamire (23:35.6), sophomore John Davis (24:15.3) and freshman Dylan Jacobs (25:27.9).

Women's Results

The University of Findlay women were led by senior Meredith Hoops who finished with a time of 19:23.2, earning her an 11^th place finish. Following her were a pair of Oilers, senior McKenzie Mahlmeister and freshman Torrie Purdy, who finished 28^th and 29^th with times of 20:58.9 and 21:02.4 respectively.

Finishing the scoring for Findlay were junior Melanie Ruich, who finished with a time of 22:23.8, earning 44^th place and junior Kailey Coleman, who finished 45^th with a time of 22:26.3. The women placed eighth as a team and scored 157 points.

Also participating for The University of Findlay were freshman Heidi Paxson with a time of 22:31.9, senior Erica Bettac (22:34.2), senior Samanatha Grippe (23:23.2), sophomore Claire Crum (23:41.3) and sophomore Taylor Bolinger (23:45.7).

The University of Findlay cross country teams are back in action Saturday Sep. 19, as they travel to Westerville, Ohio for the Otterbein Invitational. The meet is schedule to begin at 10:45 AM.
