Oilers Compete at Ray Bullock Invitational

The University of Findlay men and women's cross country teams competed at the Taylor University Ray Bullock Invitational in Upland, Indiana on Friday, September 21. The women's team finished in 7th as they posted a score of 156. The men's team finished in 9th place as they posted a 285 score.

Women's Results for 5k

Sophomore Gabrielle Lawrence was the top finisher for the Orange and Black, and finished in 8th place overall, as she finished the race with a time of 19:09.6.

Megan Donoher was the next Oiler to come across the finish line as she placed 17th in the race, posting a time of 19:53.3

Other racers for Findlay included Morgan Gaskins, (20:46.6), Haley Robinett, (21:54.5), Jenna Shipman, (22:47.6), Madisen Borer, (23:12.4), and Matilda Jeruto, (29:34.1).

Men's Results for 8k

Sophomore Dylan Hunter placed the best time for the Oilers, running a 29:36.7, which was good enough to place 69th overall.

Tristin Fresistuhler, (29:51.6), and Ryan Kohout, (29:55.6), were neck and neck with each other as they placed just four seconds apart, as they placed 74th and 76th in the race.

Other runners included Ethan Adams, (30:08.7), and Wade Hopkins, (30:31.8).

Both the men and the women's teams will be back in action on Saturday, September 28, as they will compete in the All-Ohio Championship at Cedarville, Ohio.
