Oilers Complete Twilight Meet In Indianapolis

The University of Findlay men's and women's outdoor track and field teams completed the Indianapolis Twilight Qualifier on Sunday, May 15 in Indianapolis, Indiana and were led by the 4x400-meter relay team of Raven Clay, Christine Zimmermann, Lindsey Schmitmeyer and Catherine Wiemers, who posted a first place time of 3:44.81. The time is also a NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

Lyndon Johnson won the 200-meter dash at 21.97, Cody Crockett was second in the javelin at 55.44 meters, Taylor Miller took third in the shot put at 15 meters and Jessica Vorst was second in the shot put at 13.65 meters, a provisional mark.

The Oilers will be back in action again on May 26-28 at the NCAA Division II National Championship in Turlock, California.
