Clay Wins 2 At Keeler Invitational

The University of Findlay men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Dr. Keeler Invitational on Friday, May 13 in Naperville, Illinois and were led by Lyndon Johnson who won a pair of events.

Johnson finished first in the 100-meter dash with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 10.58 and also took first in the 200-meter dash at 21.38, also a provisional time, while John Guagenti won the 400-meter dash with a school record-breaking and NCAA provisional time of 47.01.

Cody Crockett finished fourth in the javelin with a school record-breaking and NCAA provisional mark of 197'11, Tim Sanders was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at 54.62, Shawnathan Fort took seventh in the 400-meter dash at 49.18 and Greg Schaible was eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.21.

Raven Clay won the 100-meter hurdles with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 13.66 and also teamed with Lindsey Schmitmeyer, Christine Zimmermann and Catherine Wiemers to win the 4x400-meter relay at 3:49.77, also a provisional time.
