Clay Dominates In Boston For Valentines Invitational

The University of Findlay women's track and field team competed in the Valentine Invitational on Friday, Feb. 10th in Boston, Mass.

Raven Clay placed first in the 60-meter hurdles with an NCAA automatic qualifying, school record time of 8.26 – the fastest time in NCAA Division II this year.  She was also part of the 4x400-meter relay team, with Jhazmyn Anderson, Christine Zimmermann and Catherine Wiemers, that placed 5th with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 3:53.39.

Individually, Zimmermann placed 22nd in the 800-meter run with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:13.61, while Anderson finished 43rd in the 400-meter dash (59.06), and Alexa Stults placed 96th in the mile run (5:18.93).

The men will be in action tomorrow at the Valentine Invitational.
