Oilers Complete Wake Forest Open

The University of Findlay men's and women's outdoor track and field teams completed the Wake Forest Open on Saturday, March 17 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Raven Clay won the 100-meter hurdles with a ncaa automatic qualifying time of 13.48 while Jessica Rowland was second in the discus at 143'10, a provisional mark.

Rowland also added a fifth place finish in the javelin at 132'04, another provisional toss.

Tim Sanders finished third in the 110-meter hurdles with a provisional time of 14.54 while also taking tenth in the 400-meter hurdles, which was another provisional time.

Darren Bass took sixth in the discus throw at 149'10 and Justin Eilerman was seventh in the 1500-meter run at 3:56.93.

The Oilers will be back in action again on March 31 at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational.
