Oilers Have 5 Earn All-Academic Honors from USTFCCCA

The University of Findlay women's track and field team had five individuals capture United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic awards for the 2011-12 campaign.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either indoor or outdoor seasons.

Kendra Averesch, Pam Showman, Shelby Stump, Catherine Wiemers and Christine Zimmermann each received the honor.
