Rowland Named GLIAC Track Athlete of the Week

Senior Jessica Rowland of the Oilers women's track team was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 15 for her performances at the Doug Raymond Invitational, which concluded on Jan. 12 in Kent, Ohio.

Rowland set a new school record with a first place heave of 66'02.50 in the weight throw, which was also a NCAA automatic qualifying mark, and also added a fourth place finish in the shot put with a NCAA provisional qualifying toss of 52'06.00.
