Sarah Lankton, women's lacrosse player

Top Athletes Since 2000 | Sarah Lankton

Since we can't play sports, we have decided to look back on the past 20 years and highlight some of the best student-athletes to wear the Orange and Black since 2000. Next up is former women's lacrosse standout, Sarah Lankton.

You can't mention the Oilers lacrosse program without bringing up Sarah. She holds 11 single-season school records and ten career records at Findlay. She wrapped up her tenure with the Oilers by recording 426 draw controls, 341 points, 299 ground balls, 262 goals, and 120 caused turnovers.

Sarah was named a second team NCAA Division II All-American in 2016 and picked up third team All-American accolades in 2015. She earned all-region honors in each of those two seasons as well.

A four-time all-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) selection, Sarah was named the 2013 GLIAC Freshman of the Year and then followed with being named the GLIAC Midfielder of the Year in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
