Top-10 Individual Performances | #2 James Wimer
The Oilers had another incredible year as multiple student-athletes saw success at both the conference and national level. In order to further honor those accomplishments, Findlay's media relations staff has put together a top-10 list of individual performances from the year and will release them throughout the summer months.
#2 | James Wimer | Wrestling
Senior James Wimer went undefeated for the Roughnecks in the 157-pound weight class at 18-0 and won a NCAA Division II National Championship as the top-ranked wrestler in the nation. He was also named the NCAA Division II Region 3 Wrestler of the Year and was voted the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Wrestler of the Year.
A first team all-conference selection, Wimer also won a G-MAC title at 157 and later earned a regional title as well.
