Oilers Picked to Finish 9th in G-MAC

The University of Findlay baseball team was picked to finish ninth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this season as the league office unveiled their annual Preseason Coaches Poll presented by Under Armour on Jan. 27.

The Oilers, who finished last season with a 14-25 record, received 27 points in the poll. Trevecca Nazarene University was picked as the favorite to win the conference with 91 points and four first place votes.

Senior Anthony Kyle returns to lead the team after earning third team all-conference honors in 2021. He posted a 3-3 record on the mound and finished with a team-high 81 strikeouts in 61.1 innings of work.
