Farrar Earns G-MAC Player of the Week

Findlay, Ohio - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the conference Athlete of the Week selections on Monday, March 28. In baseball, Findlay junior Cam Farrar has earned Player of the Week for the first time in his career after leading the Oilers to a 4-1 record overall and a 4-0 mark in league play over the past seven days.

Farrar, a Clyde, Ohio native, hit .563 this week, picking up nine hits in 16 at-bats. Of those nine hits, five went for extra bases as the outfielder clubbed three doubles, had a triple, and a home run. He picked up seven RBI and also walked five times.

This marks the first Offensive Player of the Week selection for the Oilers since February of 2018.
