Blaine Wynk Earns South Division Pitcher of the Week

Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) released their selections for Athlete of the Week on Monday, March 6. Findlay freshman Blaine Wynk earned South Division Pitcher of the Week after two impressive outings last week in Florida.

On the mound, Wynk picked up two wins, the first two wins of his college career. He a seven-inning complete game against Tiffin and followed that up with 6.2 innings against Saginaw Valley State. Wynk allowed just two runs in the 13.2 innings pitched, one in each game, and struck out 14 while walking just two.

This is the second time the Oilers have earned Pitcher of the Week as Anthony Kyle earned the honor on Feb. 20.
