English Equestrian Wins 2 Shows in Painesville
The University of Findlay English equestrian team won a pair of shows over the weekend in Painesville, Ohio and were led by Melissa McDonald and Bethany Ockwell, who earned high point honors in the first and second show, respectively.
Brittany Veninger captured reserve honors in the first show while Katie Pohlman captured the same award in the second show.
The Oilers scored 40 points in the first show to top the 36 scored by Lake Erie. They then added 25 points in the second show and won a 25-25 tie with Bowling Green based on the fact they had more points accumulated over fences.
