#20 Oilers Cruise to 131-72 Win | Set 3 Records

The University of Findlay men's basketball team cruised to a 131-72 win over Miami-Hamilton on Nov. 18 at the Don Callan Classic in Cedarville, Ohio. The win pushes the Oilers record to 4-1 on the season.

The Oilers, who are ranked 20th in the nation, set new school records for most made field goals in a game (53), most field goals attempted in a game (88) and most assists in a game (37) during the victory. They shot 60.2 percent from the floor, canned 11-of-26 (42.3%) three point attempts and grabbed 54 rebounds in the game.

Freshman forward Anthony Masterlasco led the way with a career-high 29 points on 13-of-14 shooting. He also grabbed eight rebounds and added two assists and a block.

Senior guard Martyce Kimbrough put up a season-high 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting while senior forward Taren Sullivan had 15 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Sophomore forward Aaron Overhiser continued his stellar play with 14 points and four boards while freshman forward Brady Wildermuth established new career-highs with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Sophomore forward Matt Ashley reached double figures with a career-high 11 points while junior guard Trey Smith had five points and set new career-highs with ten rebounds and ten assists in the victory.

The Oilers will be back in action on Nov. 25 when they travel to Big Rapids, Mich. for a showdown against #10 Ferris State University at 1pm.
